About Altar Servers

Altar serving is a meaningful introduction to lay ministries for our young Catholics, laying a foundation for lifelong, proactive faith. By serving, they develop a sense of responsibility to the Church and deepen their personal relationship with Jesus through active participation in the Mass.At Jesus the Good Shepherd Church, altar servers play an essential role at weekend Masses, weddings, funerals, Stations of the Cross, and other liturgical services. We invite committed and reverent young parishioners to join this ministry.
