About Our Confirmation Program
7th & 8th Grade | Year 1 & Year 2 Classes Begin September 14th
Confirmation is one of the three Sacraments of Initiation in the Catholic Church, along with Baptism and Communion. It completes the grace received at Baptism by sealing the individual with the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Through the anointing with sacred chrism, the baptized are strengthened with a special grace that deepens their commitment to live out and defend their faith in both word and action.
As described in Acts 8:14-17, the laying on of hands symbolizes the receiving of the Holy Spirit.
